Academic Board
The Academic Board leads and oversees academic matters at UNSW College including approving, reviewing, and advising on:
- academic policies and procedures;
- academic programs;
- major changes to curricula;
- institutional learning and teaching standards; and
- student support initiatives.
Academic Board membership
The Academic Board membership comprises:
- Independent Chair
- Independent Deputy Chair
- Independent industry expert
- Two student representatives, one of whom is a current College student elected by the Student Representative Council and the other, a College graduate now studying at UNSW.
- Representatives from four UNSW faculties
- College CEO
- College Executive Director, Academic
The current Terms of Referencewere approved by the Board on 27 February 2025.
Academic Board Meeting Dates
Academic Board meets at least five times per year
Additional meetings may be called at the request of the Chair.
Academic Board Standing Committees
The standing committees of the Academic Board are the Program Development & Review Committee, Assessment & Integrity Committee, Learning & Teaching Quality Committee, and Student Appeals Committee.
