Whether you need to improve your English, or you need more time to develop your study techniques, there is a program to suit your skill level. Every program is designed to prepare you for university, with different lengths and courses that align with your chosen degree, so you’re prepared when you get there.
With UNSW’s main campus just across the road, you have access to world-class learning facilities including libraries, and science and engineering labs. This will help you make the most of your studies now and prepare you for when you start university.

If you’re a high-achieving student with good English skills and big goals, a UNSW Diploma can launch you straight into Second Year of your chosen undergraduate degree. This 12-month program is equivalent to your First Year at university, and you can choose from Architecture, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Media & Communication or Science.
A UNSW Foundation Studies Program is your supportive pathway to the First Year of any UNSW degree. With four programs ranging from four to 15 months in length and streams that align with UNSW’s degree programs, our programs are designed to suit your academic and English skills, preparing you for studying at university.
