This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to apply with confidence and meet your deadlines.

Term 1 2026 applications are open via UAC:

  • 18 December 2025: ATARs are released and December Round 2 preferences close
  • 23 December 2025: Offers are released for December Round 2 - you'll only receive one offer in each offer round

    • UAC applications: Add UNSW College to your preferences before the preference deadline.

    • Direct applications: Fill out the online form, uploading your proof of citizenship and academic results for assessment.

  • Once you receive an offer, follow the instructions to accept and secure your place.

I’ve submitted my application. What’s next? 
  • If you applied via UAC:

    You can track your application or update your preferences online with UAC, by logging into your UAC account.

    You'll only receive one offer per UAC offer round so make sure your preferences are in the best shape possible. Keep the diploma or degree you really want to study as your top preference to be able to receive an offer.

    UNSW College will be participating in the December Round 2 and January Round 1 offers for entry to Term 1 2026.

    Here are also some key dates to remember:

    • Application deadline (December Round 2): 27 November 2025
    • Preferences deadline: (December Round 2): 18 December 2025
    • Offers released (December Round 2): 23 December 2025
    • Diploma Term 1 Orientation: 15 January 2026

    Please check UAC for the full list of application and preference deadlines.

    If you applied directly to UNSW College:

    You can track your application by logging in to the UNSW College application portal. 

    If it's your first time logging in, click ‘I have forgotten my password’. Enter the email address you used in your application and click ‘Reset password’. This will let you create a password and access the portal.
  • If you applied via UAC:

    Received an offer from us? Congratulations!  

    Your offer means you’ve been accepted at UNSW College. UAC will contact you via email letting you know which diploma you have an offer to study. You will also receive your official offer letter via email from UNSW College Admissions. Make sure to check the offer acceptance deadlines to ensure you secure your spot in time.

    If you applied directly to UNSW College:

    Received an offer from us? Congratulations! 

    We’ll email you the details of your offer. Don’t forget to check the deadline so you can secure your place in time.
  • If you applied via UAC: 

    You’ll first receive a notification from UAC. Shortly after, UNSW College will send your official offer letter by email. 

    To accept your offer: 

    1. Go to the UNSW College application portal
    2. Log in using the email address you used in your UAC application.
    3. Select ‘Accept’ and upload your signed offer letter and any required documents.

    If you applied directly to UNSW College:

    3. Select ‘Accept’ and upload your signed offer letter and any required documents.

    For full instructions, visit our How to accept an offer page.  It’s a good idea to accept your offer early. Places are limited to keep class sizes small and learning personalised — and they can fill quickly.
